THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a US Fortune 500 Company.  It pioneered the semiconductor memory products, which has developed technology enabling the computer and Internet revolution. It supplies the computing and communications industries with chips, boards, systems, and software building blocks.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Based in Beijing and report to the Managing Director of the company’s China, the successful candidate will work with China’s Corporate Affairs and Legal teams to cover the below areas:

  • Identify key legal policy development in China and around the world that may affect the company’s business in China; provide analysis and action recommendations to the leaders/managers
  • Directly work with the relevant stakeholders (both internal and external) to influence legal policy development and formulate policy solutions that meet the legal requirement as well as the company’s business needs
  • Work with China Corporate Affairs team to maintain strong working relationship with the key PRC government agencies responsible for formulating and implementing relevant legal policies that affect Intel businesses
  • Provide legal policy advise to the affected the company’s business organizations

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • More than 12 years of working experience in the China legal and policy field; relevant working experience in the legal/public policy job of a MNC or government is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining strong working relationship with relevant PRC government agencies
  • Demonstrated experiences in working with US and other relevant jurisdictions’ stakeholders (internal and external);
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be a team player;
  • Fluent in English and Chinese, strong legal/analytical drafting and public presentation skills;
  • Legal training background with a master of law degree or above; qualified to practice law in China or other major jurisdictions
