THE EMPLOYER:

The company’s China operations are the largest with nearly 1000 employees and a key R&D center.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will lead the PRC legal team of 12+ legal professionals and will also focus extensively on the company M&A deals in mainland China.Major responsibilities are:

• Head of all legal work involving
• PRC legal advice
• Work closely with company's lawyers in Hong Kong and the US on M&A transactions
• Responsible for negotiating and drafting legal documents
• Maintain daily software license and distribution contract approval procedure
• Manage legal compliance and corporate governance work
• Provide training to other counsel and business units

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree(s) from reputable universities
• 6 years or more legal practice experience in-house or at a leading law firm
• Solid experience in M&A in the PRC
• Excellent Chinese and English drafting skills
• Ability to communicate well in English
