 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is the world's largest industrial and logistics infrastructure provider, with 2,817 industrial properties in 121 markets in 20 countries across North America, Europe and Asia.
Since beginning operations in China in 2004, the company is present in 20 cities across China, developing and managing more than 60 logistics parks.They are looking for Legal Counsel (North Region of China), based in Beijing.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will report to the company China Legal Director. The main responsibilities are:
- Assist Legal Director to coordinate various projects and follow up the progress mainly for North Region
- Draft/review/translate various legal documents
- Participate in the project negotiations and help business functions to solve the legal issues.
- Other responsibilities and tasks as assigned by Legal Director
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5 years working experiences in reputable law firm(s) or in legal department of multinational corporations, 3 years working experience in reputable laws firm is preferred
- Law degree(s) from reputable law school(s)
- PRC bar qualification
- Rich knowledge and experiences in foreign investment, M&A, and real estate (project development and leasing)
- Good at legal drafting both in English and Chinese, communication and computer processing sills
- Nice, responsible, hardworking, self-motivating, team-playing
- Good communication skills
