Since its beginning operations in China in 1995, the company is present in 14 cities across China.Currently they are looking for China Legal Counsel, based in Shanghai.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will be responsible for all legal issues in the company (China). The main responsibilities are:
Operations
- Review all related Regulation or Legislation issued by Government bodies and recommend suitability to the business
- Validation customer agreement for quality check etc.
- Validate supplier agreement
Global sourcing
- Purchase Contract review
- Purchase Contract implementation, includes: quality claim, termination, arbitration, etc.
- Other legal document consult/review, includes: NDA, Development agreement, etc.
Sales & Marketing
- Sales contract, agreement legal review, advice
- Special term review and legal advice
- Customer contract/agreement template legal review and advice
- Trademark, IPR, etc, registration and legal advice.
- Infringement case handle
- Legal advice for publicity (if need)
- Raider issue
HR
- HR related rules & regulations, employment contract and agreement review
- Employee & employer legal issue
- Involve internal corruption investigation
REQUIREMENTS:
- 4+ years work experience in legal department of multinational corporations in or reputable law firm(s)
- Law degree(s) from reputable law school(s)
- Rich knowledge in Corporate law; Contract law; Labor law and IP regulations
- Experiences in Infringement, Trademark and IPR – preferred
- PRC bar qualification
- Good communication skills
