Based in USA, our client is a prominent cosmetic company whose business covers skin care and color cosmetics.With around 40 years’ development, the company’s products are sold in more than 30 markets worldwide today. It has over 5,000 employees.
Currently the company is seeking qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Senior Legal Specialist.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks relating to legal issues that must be addressed by or for the company in Sales Force Support area.Duties include:
- Provides legal support to legal counselor with respect to Sales force related issues, which includes but not limited to, conducting literature review, managing Sales force related agreements, providing legal support on sales force projects and cases, supporting business model related issues
- Makes independent assessments and evaluations of legal requirements relating to various issues and determines appropriate action and/or response and provides recommendation of action for legal counselors review
- Independently conducts and/or direct research, analysis and investigation and takes results of such tasks and provides preliminary legal report and recommendation for legal counselor review
- Directly receives requests and assesses the needs of other departments for legal assistance and/or information and takes appropriate action to resolve and support the needs of those departments per direction of legal counselors
- Maintain literature review process through OA system and continuously optimize it through communication with business departments
- Interface directly with outside counsel, agents, government and quasi-government agencies, vendors and members of the independent sales force regarding a variety of legal issues per direction of legal counselors
REQUIREMENTS:
- LLB degree from reputable university
- 3 – 4 years of relevant experience in a law firm or in-house
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong legal research and analytical skills
- Proficient in use of MS Word and Excel
- Strong human relations skills, tact, diplomacy and high degree of professionalism and confidentiality
- Ability to work in timely manner
- Superior organizational skills
