THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a wholly foreign owned consulting company.The company is competent in the international practice in the legal, administrative, fiscal and labor law fields in China since 1999.It provides professional services for both domestic and global companies of medium and large size in Europe and China markets.

The company is currently seeking Middle/Senior Legal Consultant, to be based in Shanghai.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will take an important role in handling various various inbound and outbound transactions. Duties include:

• Provide legal service in various transactions and work pertaining to FDI, M&A,general corporate, etc.
• Be involved in the management, execution and exploration of legal consulting service and standardise legal services
• Draft, review and revise internal documents of enterprises clients, including various contracts and agreements
• Participate in,?organize?and?develop business negotiation of enterprise projects
• Edit legal opinion and advices on Chinese Law issues related to the company life circle and transactions according Chinese and International Laws
• Maintain and develop existing legal resources and follow-up and research on the latest laws and regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

• LLB degree or above from reputable law school(s)
• PRC bar qualification
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience with law firm, large and middle scale enterprises as legal service consultant or in the field of consultancy is preferred
• Experience in handling projects independently in the main areas of general corporate, FDI?and?M&A
• In-depth knowledge in the laws & regulations concerning foreign investment, Company Law, Contract Law, Labour Law and Intellectual Property Law as well as related application
• Excellent drafting, negotiating and communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving, result-oriented, and resistance capacity
