THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a PRC-based large car accessories enterprise specializing in the manufacture and sales of diesel engines.The company has a wide service network with a lot of service centers and subsidiaries.It is growing fast and making an effort to frame an internationalized business model and work team.

Currently, the company is seeking Deputy Legal Director for its subsidiaries, based in Jinan.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will take an important role in the legal team and report to the Legal Director of the company.Main duties include:

• Develop and support the company’s inbound and outbound M&A transactions, and a wide range of commercial matters affecting the company’s business and subsidiaries
• Support the management level on building up corporate system and business operation and work as a valued and trusted business partner to the company’s business
• Provide legal advice on other business and legal related matters
• Lead, manage and develop the legal team

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree from a leading university; overseas education background would be advantageous but not required
• PRC bar qualification
• 10+ years’ post qualification legal experience in leading law firm(s) and / or legal division of MNC(s)
• Experience on management, M&A transactions and capital operation
• Good written and communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Good organizational, management and leadership skills
• Responsive, proactive team player and result-oriented
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Strong business acumen
