With over 20 years' experience, the company is facing new market penetration and explosive growth on a consistent basis in the US, Europe and Asia.

Currently, the company is seeking a Legal Counsel, mainly focusing on the area of IP, based in Shanghai.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will take a leading role to provide legal support to the company’s business in China.The primary area which s/he will focus on is intellectual property.In specific, duties include:

• Provide legal advice to the management of PRC-based FIE entities
• Participate in various legal structuring and negotiation of business transactions
• Draft, review and translate various commercial contracts and legal documents
• Keep liaison with external counsel and monitor their performance
• Follow up and conduct research on latest legal development in PRC region

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree from a reputable ChineseUniversity
• PRC bar qualification is a plus
• 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in legal division of MNC(s); experience in logistics field is preferred; overseas experience is a plus
• Deep understanding of China corporate/commercial law
• Good written and communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Good management, leading, organizational and analytical skills
• Strong business acumen
