Our client is a top tier US law firm with more than 2,000 lawyers in 30 offices around the world (eight in Asia and three in greater China area).The firm represents more than 250 of the Fortune 500 companies.
The expanding Japanese legal practice of the firm is seeking a Japanese Speaking Lawyer to join its Shanghai office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Representing Japanese clients in M&A, FDI and corporate legal affairs
- Drafting various transaction documents
- Conducting legal research and preparing memos
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years experience with Japanese legal practice in a Japanese international law firm or a leading local law firm
- Above Bachelor of Law Degree in a reputable Chinese university;Legal education in Japan — preferred
- Proficient in Japanese and English as working language
- Good written and oral communication skills
