 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is a reputable US law firm, recognized as one of the best law firms to work with in the United States.Over the years, the firm has grown beyond its roots in the Pacific Northwest, and now has nine offices across the United States and China.
The expanding Shanghai office is seeking qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Associate.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will provide legal advice in the Corporate area.Duties will vary depending on candidate’s seniority.In general, responsibilities include:
- Represent foreign and domestic corporations in various transactions
- Draft various agreements and legal documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare memos
- Perform due diligence reviews and prepare due diligence reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of PQE with Corporate matters
- US/PRC bar admission or any recognized bar qualification
- Law degree from reputable Chinese university; overseas law degree will be a plus
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and Chinese
- Good organizational skills and attention to details
