 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is a top Wall Street firm from the United States. Major practice groups include M&A, private equity, capital markets, banking and real estate.Based in New York, the transactions of the firm extend throughout the Americas, Europe and Asia.
With the expansion of its Shanghai office, the firm is seeking Associate to join its Corporate team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice in M&A, Private Equity, and FDI.In specific, it include,
- Represent foreign and domestic corporations in various transactions
- Draft and negotiate transaction documents
- Perform due diligence reviews and prepare due diligence reports
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of solid China Corporate/PE experience
- Good educational background with top law school(s)
- Foreign bar qualification - required
- Experience with reputable international firm or top tier local firm
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and Chinese
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills
