THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is an international law firm, providing clients with an extensive range of legal services. The firm operates 20+ offices across Asia, Europe and the US in 20+ countries.It is a prestigious international firm in China with a long history.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The firm is seeking a Senior IP Attorney to join its Shanghai office.The successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of IP practices, including:

• PRC patent, trademark, copyright and unfair competition litigation
• IP transactions such as technology transfer and licensing
• PRC patent filing and prosecution, and patent portfolio management
• PRC patent invalidation proceedings
• Trademark portfolio management, trademark cancellation/opposition, trademark enforcement, and customs protections

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree (or above) in Science or Engineering, preferably Electrical or Electronic Engineering
• PRC bar qualification is required; PRC Patent Agent qualification is preferred
• Solid knowledge in Chinese intellectual property law and practice
• 6+ years of relevant experience with an international law firm or leading PRC law firm in a broad range of IP practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent written and spoken skills in both English and Chinese
