Our client is a “Magic Circle” firm with more than 2,000 lawyers in 25 offices worldwide. This firm is known for its expertise — banking and finance.The firm advises over 800 corporate and financial institutions in global financial markets.
Its Beijing and Shanghai offices are seeking qualified candidates to fill vacancies in its Banking Department.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice in one or more of following areas.Duties will vary depending on candidate’s seniority.
- asset finance
- property finance
- project finance
- securitization and capital markets
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2 - 7 years PQE with relevant experience in one or more of: asset finance, property finance, project finance, securitization and capital markets — required
- PRC bar or any recognized bar qualification — required
- Overseas educational experience — an advantage
- Excellent drafting skills; competent to draft documents in English
- Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
