 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is a “Magic Circle” firm with more than 25 offices worldwide. The firm operates as one team for China projects, engaging lawyer in its Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices in projects.
The firm’s Beijing and Shanghai offices are currently looking for Corporate Lawyer(s) for its Corporate team.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will join a team of high caliber lawyers dealing with a wide range of international clients.The Corporate team handles a variety of matters spanning M&A, FDI, and private equity.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Law degree from a reputable China law school and/or from an overseas law school
- 3+ years of experience in M&A, private equity
- PRC bar or any recognized bar qualification — required
- Work experience in an international law firm — desired
- Excellent drafting skills; competent to draft documents in English
- Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
