THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a “Magic Circle” firm with more than 25 offices worldwide. This firm is known for its expertise in banking and finance.The firm operates as one team for China projects, engaging lawyer in its Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong offices in projects.

The firm is seeking a senior Associate to join its Beijing office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice in one or more of following areas:

• project finance
• infrastructure finance
• energy projects

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree from a reputable China law school and/or from an overseas law school
• 5 - 6 PQE with practice experience in financing projects in one or more of: project finance, infrastructure finance and energy projects
• PRC bar or any recognized bar qualification — required
• Work experience in an international law firm — desired
• Excellent drafting skills; competent to draft documents in English
• Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
