THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a prominent Shanghai-based law firm licensed in PRC that has entered into a strategic alliance with an international law firm with a network of more than ten offices in the United States and Europe.

The firm is staffed by more than 30 professionals and support staff and headed by two reputable partners, both of whom were selected by Asia Legal Business as “China’s Hot 30 lawyers”.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice in PRC capital markets in one or more of following areas:

• IPO
• Derivatives
• Project Finance

REQUIREMENTS:

• 8 -10 years PQE with PRC capital markets
• PRC bar or any recognized bar qualification — required
• Law degree from reputable Chinese university; Overseas law degree — a plus
• Experience with solid law firm (top tier local law firm or international law firm)
• Excellent written and oral skills in English and Chinese
• Good organizational and  people management skills
