 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is a prominent Shanghai-based law firm licensed in PRC that has entered into a strategic alliance with an international law firm with a network of more than ten offices in the United States and Europe.
The firm’s Finance & Banking team represents international commercial banks, institutional investors, investment banks, investment funds, corporate borrowers, and financial institutions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate is expected to take the leadership of banking projects in the main areas of corporate banking and investment banking.In specific, it includes,
- Represent foreign and domestic financial corporations in various transactions
- Negotiate and draft transaction documents
- Supervise legal research and mentor junior attorneys
REQUIREMENTS:
- 6+ years experience in finance and banking industry
- Experience with foreign law firm or top-tier local firm
- Ever worked with domestic banks or QFIIs and is keeping good networking
- PRC bar or any recognized bar qualification
- Law degree(s) from reputable China law school(s)
- Excellent written and oral skills in English and Chinese
