 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is a prominent Shanghai-based law firm licensed in PRC that has entered into a strategic alliance with an international law firm with a network of more than ten offices in the United States and Europe.
The firm’s Finance & Banking team represents international commercial banks, institutional investors, investment banks, investment funds, corporate borrowers, and financial institutions.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be mainly involved in transactions of corporate banking and investment banking.In specific, it includes,
- Draft various agreements and legal documents
- Conduct legal research and prepare memos
- Participate in client meetings and negotiation sessions
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years banking experience in foreign law firm or top-tier local firm
- Ever worked with domestic banks or QFIIs
- PRC bar or any recognized bar qualification
- Law degree(s) from reputable China law school(s)
- Good communication skills including English proficiency
