THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a reputable law firm, which is strategically aligned with an international law firm with a network of more than ten offices in the United States and Europe.

The Firm’s IP team with a wide range IP practice involves daily IP consultancy and IP litigation and enforcement. Its IP practice area mainly covers patent, copyright, trademark and trade secret.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate is expected to take the leadership of Intellectual Property Team.S/he will be responsible for supervising IP team and handling transactional and counseling matters related to patents, copyrights, trade secrets and trademarks, prosecution as well as on related litigation matters.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor degree in electronic engineering
• Law degree from top law school;  LLM or J.D. — preferred
• 5-8 years solid experience in IP advisory or prosecution area
• Overseas experience (education / training or working experience) — preferred
• PRC Patent Agent qualification — required
• Licensed in PRC — required
• Good communication skills in both English and Chinese
• Excellent market sense and business acumen
