THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a leading US law firm with nearly 1000 lawyers and 18 offices worldwide (three offices in greater China area).

Lawyers on the firm’s China team represent major private equity and venture capital investment funds on a wide range of investments in the Asia-Pacific region, including China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Australia.

Our client is seeking a Private Equity Associate with at least 3 years of experience to join its Hong Kong office.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will participate in complex private equity transactions.Duties will vary depending on candidate’s seniority and capability.

The successful candidate will be involved in a diversified practice and gain exposure to other corporate and commercial areas of practice.

REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years PQE with private equity practice
• HK bar or US bar qualification
• Law degree(s) from reputable law school(s)
• Excellent drafting skills
• Good written and oral communication skills in both English and Chinese
