Our client is one of world’s leading and largest retailers.It currently operates over 100 Hypermarkets in China. It ranks on Fortune Global 500 list.
Our client is seeking China Legal Manager, based in Shanghai.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify legal issues and all potential legal implications in cases and propose legally sound solutions
- Identify the potential impact on the company of general legal developments
- Work with internal Department and external lawyer for various restructuring and expansion projects
- Ensure line management colleagues give due consideration to key legal issues in decision making
- Review and draft various legal documents and management procedures accurately
REQUIREMENTS:
- Law degree(s) from reputable China and/or overseas law school(s)
- 6+ years legal practice experience; solid law firms — preferred
- PRC bar admission
- Good drafting and negotiation skills
- Excellent command of English
