 THE EMPLOYER:
Based in Spain, our client is one of leading firms in Europe.The firm’s 900 lawyers specialize in commercial legal practice and litigation with its financial and tax practice.
The firm recently opened its office in Shanghai. With the growth of its China practice, the firm is looking for excellent junior lawyer(s) to join it Shanghai office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will support senior lawyers and will be involved in M&A, FDI, and other general corporate matters.In specific, duties include
- Drafting various agreements and legal documents
- Conducting legal research and preparing memos
REQUIREMENTS:
- 1 - 2 years of experience with FDI and M&A matters in international law firm or foreign company
- Law degree(s) from reputable law school(s); overseas education experience — plus
- PRC bar admission
- Excellent drafting skills; competent to draft documents in English
- Good written and oral communication skills in English and Chinese
- Spanish language skills – useful, but not required
