 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is a prestigious international law firm which is among the largest law firms in the world.It employs more than 1,000 attorneys in 10+ offices worldwide.
The firm has a leading China practice and maintains offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong.It is seeking a Practice Development Manager, to be located in either the Beijing or Shanghai office.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will develop and drive the firm’s business development within the PRC.S/he will be supported by a small team of coordinators in Beijing and Shanghai.Duties include:
- Provide business development, marketing, and communications support to the firm’s lawyers in China
- Spearhead and execute client-development events
- Support responses to RFPs, presentations and other opportunities through client facing business development activities as well as written proposal and presentation materials and brochures
- Take overall ownership for the day to day management of marketing needs in the China offices
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor degree from a reputable university or above
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Previously practiced law for an international law firm within the PRC
- Strong business and marketing acumen
- Excellent oral and written skills in both English and Chinese
- Commercially-minded and self-motivated
- Good time management and organizational skills; attention to detail
- Excellent team working ability; effective communication skills
