THE EMPLOYER:

Our client is a leading PRC comprehensive partnership law firm. The firm has a team of over 500 legal professionals providing full range of legal services to clients.

The firm’s Shanghai office is seeking qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Corporate Lawyer.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal advice in the key areas of corporate, especially focusing on FDI, M&A and other corporate projects.Duties include:

• Represent corporations in various transactions
• Negotiate and draft transaction documents
• Participate in legal research
• Perform due diligence reviews and prepare due diligence reports

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree from a reputable Chinese university
• PRC bar qualification
• 5 – 6 years of relevant experience in PRC with a top tier domestic law firm or international law firm
• Solid knowledge and understanding of corporate and commercial law, especially in the areas of FDI and M&A
• Good written and oral skills in English and Chinese
• Good negotiation, organizational, analytical and practical approach skills
• Maturity with good team work spirit
