THE EMPLOYER:

A reputable Australia law firm is looking for Associate focused on the area of Mergers & Acquisitions, involving in due diligence and regulatory, based in its Beijing office.

This commercial law firm is among the largest law firm in Australia and provides wide range of legal services to clients mainly in Asia-Pacific region.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

The successful candidate will join the M&A team in the firm’s Beijing office on various China and Asian based M&A matters.Duties include:

• Act for clients on various transactions
• Draft various agreements and legal documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare memos
• Participate in client meetings and negotiation sessions
• Conduct due diligence and regulatory work

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree from reputable university
• PRC bar qualification
• 5+ years PQE; relevant experience in an international law firm
• Solid experience in M&A transactions in PRC; experience in due diligence and regulatory
• Excellent written and oral skills in English and Chinese
