 THE EMPLOYER:
Our client is an IP law firm.The firm is now seeking qualified candidates to fill the vacancy of Patent Attorney, to be located in Shanghai.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The successful candidate will be exposed to the full scope of China patent work.Duties include:
- Draft and prepare patent applications
- Responsible for Office Action (exam and reexam)
- Draft and negotiate commercial and technology agreements on behalf of clients
- Advise and represent clients on patent prosecution and litigation cases
REQUIREMENTS:
- Master degree from reputable PRCUniversity majoring in Electronic Engineering, or
- Master degree in Pharmaceutical or Doctor degree in biotech, medical
- Qualified to practice as a Patent Attorney in China
- Around 4 years of relevant work experience; experience in top-tier PRC IP firm is preferred
- Good written and oral skills in English and Chinese
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to details
- Outstanding writing and analytical skills
